And what about NCUR Brownbag Lunches? The NCUR brownbag lunches provide you an opportunity to interact with experts in a variety of fields in a small group setting. Topics for sessions are as wide ranging as an exploration of the work of J. R. R. Tolkien to a discussion of how to obtain a patent for an invention. Each brownbag is limited to no more than twelve participants, so sign up for a session as soon as possible either at registration when you arrive or by contacting Roger Thompson at thompsonrc@vmi.edu in the days leading up to the conference. Lunch is provided for each participant, and each session will include ample time to ask questions and discuss the topic under consideration. A complete listing of the brownbag lunches can be found at Conference Schedule / Program in the menu bar to your left.

Driving to Lexington for the conference? Remember that parking space is not available on either of the host campuses. Vehicles are to be parked at one of two satellite parking locations - Stonewall Square Shopping Center (Route 60 West) or College Square Shopping Center (Route 11 North) - and are to be have an NCUR parking permit placed on the dashboard of the vehicle. Remember to print out your copy prior to coming to the conference. Shuttle bus service is provided between the conference location and the satellite parking areas. Pictures of the entrance to the satellite parking areas are located on the same page as the printable NCUR parking permit.

For your information, there is a variety of bed and breakfast properties in the Lexington area. Martin Travel cannot book reservations at these lodgings, but you may make your own. Some, but not all bed and breakfast establishments, are within walking distance to the conference. No daily shuttle bus service will be provided between these properties and the conference.
